What I’m Learning from the 3rd Brew Your Book Telesummit
After the past two years of incredibly fun telesummits, I knew it was a no-brainer to plan and host one in 2017 – even with the new baby! I’ve got to tell you, it’s partially from selfish reasons:
I get to experience the wisdom of 15 best-selling authors (and pick their brains!) As in years past, it’s a ton of work to get all the speakers lined up, the interviews scheduled, copy written, and making sure all the technology wants to play nice.
But it is oh-so-worth it!
(Yep, even with C being just two weeks old!)
The words of wisdom from my 14 experts have REALLY inspired me to step up my game – both professionally in my writing and also with making sure the WORLD knows about this event.
The summit is September 27 – 29, 2017. That’s three FULL days of training, stories, tips, and advice from published authors to help you STOP percolating on your book and FINALLY write it! The event is free – you just need to register.
But I really do recommend the VIP upgrade that allows you to get the recordings of all the 15 interviews, PLUS the bonus training from Dr. Sarah Reiff-Hekking about beating procrastination. The real excitement of the VIP package (besides being able to listen whenever you want – for life!) is Kim’s Scribbles. These are my personal notes I’ve taken during each interview where I’m writing down the best gems and nuggets. Let’s be real: If I’M writing it down, you know you want to get it too.
VIP Upgrade ($100 Off)
So here’s “sneak peek” before the event starts:
(BTW these aren’t all the experts – just a few. You’ll want to register to see the full lineup!)
Raven Blair Davis
Raven (aka the Talk Show Maven) is a powerful, bubbly interview that you don’t want to miss. She gives a way for people who are “not a writer” to be able to successfully write their books – because it’s all about sharing your message! Raven also shares how we don’t need to be “stuck in our heads” and over-think the entire book-writing process.
Dr. Avis Jones-DeWeever
Dr. Avis was totally speaking my language when she described the Habit of Completion. (So much so, look for this idea in future blog posts!) She offers a powerful way to create visual reminders to write – and a reward system that makes you want to keep going. (And no, it’s not chocolate!) You’re not going to want to miss this!
Sandra Millers Younger
I’ll admit, I’ve had an author crush on Sandra since I first heard her speak on Lisa Sasevich’s stage. In our interview, Sandra and I chat about how writing a book gives you the Power of Completion – and how completing your book can give you expert status in ways you never dared dream about.
Paula Rizzo
Media expert Paula Rizzo and I had a great chat about why it’s never too early to think about media for your book. (And how media doesn’t have to be so scary!) If you want your book – and your message – to have lasting, wide-spread attention then THIS is the interview you need to hear!
Connie Ward
How many of us wish (or assume) that we have to put our lives and businesses “on hold” while we write our books? You don’t have to rent a cabin in the woods and then camp out there for months typing in the cold to make your book a reality. Connie gives some real, practical advice about how write your book – without needing to put life on hold!
~~
By the way, every expert is a published author AND they’re each giving you a gift to help you in writing, your business, and life. Those gifts ALONE are worth upwards of $2,000. And they’re yours when you register!
Here’s your next step: register to join us. This event is completely free – and there will be replays if you can’t join us live!
And be sure to share this with your friends and colleagues if they’ve been wanting to write a book!
